The Ultra-Lite has been designed as an emergency jacket against sudden rain and the hyperthermic chill of changing weather or a cold mountain descent. It easily packs into a jersey pocket, so it can be conveniently included with every ride. While the stretch fabric is completely waterproof, the Ultra-Lite lacks taped seams and includes cloth underarm panels for breathability, so it is not a 100% waterproof rain jacket. This ultra-lightweight, super stretchy base layer has been designed to provide a performance form fit and optimal moisture transfer and heat regulation during warm weather rides. The honeycomb structure of the knit not only wicks perspiration away from the skin but it also facilitates air movement between the jersey and base layer which speeds evaporation and cooling. The Range is the perfect choice for those who want a very classic looking and fitting jersey constructed with soft Merino wool. With its clean aesthetic and natural material, it lovingly harkens to a time in cycling's past when wool jerseys were the daily norm. However, the Range Jersey is nothing like the wool jersey Andy Hampsten was wearing in Colorado's famed Coors Classic.

Our Merino wool, which incorporates recycled polyester blend, is extremely breathable, comfortably stretchy and incredibly soft against the skin. We especially love the blend of these two fabrics because it combines the natural look, feel and anti-microbial properties of Merino wool with the durability and washability of polyester. We developed the Range Jersey for a variety of rides and conditions, including gravel adventures and commuting, and for those who enjoy vintage style.

DESIGN NOTES

The collar in the Range Jersey features a lower set point in front and tapered design to increase comfort when fully zipped. We also used a YKK semi-auto lock zipper which has a textured rubber pull for better gripping. The biggest advantage of a locking zipper is the ability for the wearer to singlehandedly unzip and open their jersey for venting. Merely flip the pull up to unlock the zipper. Then, with one hand, the jersey can be pulled open. Flip the pull back down to lock the zipper pull in place. Pockets have been designed to include a stretchy and more durable opening and an innovative bellows at the bottom that expands when stuffed with larger objects.

The Tellus collection is designed to excel in all your warm weather, off-road pursuits where lightweight comfort and breathability, coupled with individual style, are paramount. We didn’t want to bog the Tellus collection down with excessive bells and whistles. Instead, we chose to focus on creating an off-road kit that disappears on your body.  

We've used a durable, Nylon/Spandex stretch-mesh throughout the Tellus Short Liner to maximize breathability and wicking capability, and mesh-knit leg bands with silicone grippers for a secure fit. Unlike most MTB-style liners, we sourced a top-shelf, Elastic Interface® chamois. We chose it for it's smaller footprint that won’t get hung up on your saddle, and because of the advanced foam package that will keep you comfortable for long days in the saddle. 

While designed to be paired with the Tellus Short, the Tellus Short Liner can actually be worn with any short that does not have a liner. As such, we constructed it with a slightly shorter inseam so it will not show below the shell, but also made sure to incorporate a soft silicone gripper that will keep the legs locked in place for hours.

FIT & DESIGN

The Tellus Jersey is designed with a trim, on bike fit. This means you won’t have fabric billowing all over the place on long open sections of gravel or when ripping down your favorite singletrack. We also made sure to build in a rear-drop that is substantial enough to cover your back while in an aggressive riding position. A hidden terry-wipe allows for quick cleaning of sunglasses.

FABRICS & CONSTRUCTION

The Tellus Jersey is constructed primarily from an Italian 4-way stretch knit mesh that is super light, extremely breathable and surprisingly durable. The dimensionality of the knit holds portions of the fabric off your skin to maximize airflow and the wicking of perspiration. We used an even more durable BreatheLITE fabric under the arms to increase rub-durability in critical areas.

Truly a lightweight garment, the Tellus Jersey is just over 3 ounces in a size medium.

The Keystone Vest is designed with the classic Colorado shoulder season ride in mind. Imagine your morning rollout in the mid 30’s, by lunchtime you're faced with temperatures hitting the 70’s, and the entire course of the day you've encountered mountain ascents/descents that expose you to extremes at either end of that spectrum (and probably some rain too!). The Keystone is extremely effective at regulating your temperature while being light enough to wear through the entire effort (even though it will easily pack into a jersey pocket). And if you tend to run hot during exertion, we've included a reflective two-way zipper so you have venting options.
