If you've previously purchased an Ascent jersey, you will notice the complete redesign of this garment for 2020! Most noticeable is the new collar, which has been entirely rethought for improved comfort. With a lower set point in front and a tapered design, we've increased comfort for when the jersey is fully zipped. Speaking of zippers, another big change is the new YKK semi-auto lock zipper, which features a textured rubber pull for better gripping. The biggest advantage of a locking zipper is the ability for the wearer to singlehandedly unzip and open their jersey for venting. Merely flip the pull up to unlock the zipper. Then, with one hand, the jersey can be pulled open. Flip the pull back down to lock the zipper pull in place. We are also really excited about the new pocket design, which incorporates a stretchy and more durable opening and an innovative bellows at the bottom that expands when stuffed with larger objects. And finally, we removed the waist gripper from the front half of the jersey, not only to reduce weight, but to create more comfort and less binding when in the riding position.

AERO FIT: The Aero fit has a more aggressive front-to-back drop that reduces bunching when in riding position while providing better coverage and pocket access in the back. Longer sleeves remain locked in place by a silicone printed compression band.

TRADITIONAL FIT: The traditional fit version of this jersey is the perfect choice for those who want a more roomier fit without the next-to-skin aerodynamic fit. Includes a zippered valuables pocket.

Front Fabric: Dimensional knit polyester which provides both excellent stand-up for a more flattering look and exceptional breathability. The fabric is also naturally UPF 50+.

The Tellus collection is designed to excel in all your warm weather, off-road pursuits where lightweight comfort and breathability, coupled with individual style, are paramount. We didn’t want to bog the Tellus collection down with excessive bells and whistles. Instead, we chose to focus on creating an off-road kit that disappears on your body.

FIT & DESIGN: The Tellus Jersey is designed with a trim, on bike fit. This means you won’t have fabric billowing all over the place on long open sections of gravel or when ripping down your favorite singletrack. We also made sure to build in a rear-drop that is substantial enough to cover your back while in an aggressive riding position. A hidden terry-wipe allows for quick cleaning of sunglasses. Truly a lightweight garment, the Tellus Jersey is just over 3 ounces in a size medium.

FABRICS & CONSTRUCTION: The Tellus Jersey is constructed primarily from an Italian 4-way stretch knit mesh that is super light, extremely breathable and surprisingly durable. The dimensionality of the knit holds portions of the fabric off your skin to maximize airflow and the wicking of perspiration. We used an even more durable BreatheLITE fabric under the arms to increase rub-durability in critical areas.
